Argentine artists create in Vietnam's Capital for the Hanoi Mural
(Hanoi Mural - 27 Jan 2010) - With the strong support of the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam, three female artists from the far-faraway Southern American country have been arriving in Vietnam's Capital to create for the Hanoi Mural. The trip of the Argentine artists is sponsored by the IMPSA Corporation (located in Buenos Aires, Argentina) and the New Hanoi Arts Company (Hanoi, Vietnam)...

The three artists plan to stay in Hanoi for two weeks and will create approximately 50 square meters of the ceramic mosaic picture for the Hanoi Mural. They are Maria Teresa Bobbio (from Buenos Aires, Argentina), Sonja Vitulic and Christina Diaz (both from Patagonia, Argentina).

Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Alberto J Kaminker has been visited the artists and their art work, which is under processing. This is the second time the Argentine Ambassador visits the studio of the Hanoi Mural. He is also the key person who tries his best to push the exchanges between the artists of the two countries Argentina and Vietnam.

A short reportage on the event has been broadcasting on the Vietnam's National Chanel VTV1 and the text version is also appeared on the website of the Vietnam Natinoal Television (VTV).
In vice versa, two artists of the Hanoi Mural will travel later this year to Rawson City (Capital of Chubut province, Patagonia, Argentina) to join in the project "Bicentenary Mural" to commemorate 200 years of the Argentine Revolution. The project founder is artist Sonja Vitulic - the ceramist from Rawson City, Argentina.
The Argentine Embassy in Vietnam, the Government of Chubut Province (Argentina), the IMPSA Corporation (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and New Hanoi Arts Company (Hanoi, Vietnam) are the sponsors of the Argentine-Vietnamese exchange in the mural projects.
